Satellite Industry Trends: Intelsat CEO David Wajsgras at WSBW 2024

David Wajsgras, CEO of Intelsat, shared his vision for the satellite industry’s future at World Space Business Week 2024. He emphasized Intelsat’s growth and innovation approach in an industry that is evolving quickly. Wajsgras acknowledged that the market is becoming more competitive, but he remains optimistic about growth opportunities, driven by high demand for bandwidth across various sectors. The government, defense, and security sectors- particularly in the U.S. and among its key allies- are major contributors to this demand. Intelsat is going to be able to expand its reach even more thanks to an upcoming multi-year partnership with a telco. Wajsgras ended on a high note by highlighting the strong demand in the industry. Wajsgras on the future of the sector:

“The demand equation is getting more and more compelling.”
