Flat Panel Antenna Market Set to Boom as LEO Connectivity Adoption Grows

The satellite connectivity landscape is changing drastically. According to Valour Consultancy’s “The Future of Flat Panel Antennas,” report, flat panel antenna (FPA) shipments are projected to reach nearly half a million units by 2035, a significant increase from its 2023 projection of 100,000 units by 2030. This reflects a fundamental shift: as adoption barriers ease and LEO gains credibility, production costs are falling. Valour Consultancy’s report provides comprehensive market statistics, competitive landscape analysis, and detailed company profiles across aviation, maritime, and land mobility industries, identifying which manufacturers are most likely to lead the market. The momentum is unmistaken. As Arabella Kearney, Market Research Analyst and Co-Author of the report shared

“Confidence in LEO connectivity has increased substantially, to the extent end-users now prioritize solutions that deliver low latency, resilience, and redundancy. The price of hardware has also fallen dramatically thanks to continued advances in the semiconductor space, as well as better economies of scale in production. This has allowed the ARPU to fall to a level that has expanded the addressable market in both the land mobility and maritime sectors earlier than expected.”
